Paige McCarthy

Summer Intern

Paige's love for art and art history started very young when she attended the MFA Boston's summer studio art camp. Born and raised outside Boston, she grew up appreciating the East Coast's impressive museums and unique architecture. She is now a rising senior at Occidental College in Los Angeles where she is an Art History major and a Classical Studies minor. In her free time, she likes to shoot both digital and film photography which has inspired her interest in studying contemporary photography. She has loved being a part of Oxy's Art History department because she has had the privilege of becoming familiar with Los Angeles's remarkable museums with her favorites being The Autry Museum of The American West and the Getty Villa.

Paige loves everything the art world has to offer. She interned last summer at the Florence Griswold Museum, in East Lyme Connecticut, working with their curatorial staff. During her senior year she will work as an archiving intern at the Autry Museum. Paige loves to soak up every ounce of knowledge from each corner of the art world and admires the way that Artful uniquely ties together art and travel.
