Latasha Thomas
In 2010, Latasha moved to New York after graduating from University of Western Ontario in Canada. She began working at the Whitney Museum in 2011 and spent over a decade in customer experience roles culminating in her role as Manager of Visitor and Membership Experience. During her time at the museum, she developed a passion for working with tours and helping visitors get the most from their experience.
Through the CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) and the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, she completed the CreateNYC: Leadership Accelerator program in 2018 which engaged 25 mid-level career professionals in professional development. As a result, she was able to carve out a path as a leader in the city's thriving cultural sector. Traveling and learning are Latasha's passions. Her favorite trips were to Panama and Honolulu. She is currently studying creative writing and French, and is looking for a puppy to adopt.
