Experience FRONT 2022 and the Cleveland Contemporary Art Scene
Artful is delighted to partner with VIA Art Fund to offer a comprehensive visit to the Cleveland art scene built around the second FRONT triennial. FRONT International 2022 titled Oh, Gods of Dust and Rainbows, based on a poem by Langston Hughes, will be curated by Prim Krishnamurthy. FRONT 2022 "will embrace art as an agent of transformation, a mode of healing, and a therapeutic process." The trip will include visits to key FRONT exhibitions including VIA sponsored artists Jacolby Satterwhite, Tony Cokes, Sarah Oppenheimer and Maria Hassabi. We will have curator guided visits to key sites around the city, including the Transformer Station, SPACES, MOCA Cleveland and the Cleveland Art Museum. In addition to FRONT exhibits, VIA partners will be treated to a special immersive experience, including special access to multiple leading private collections.
This trip will be led by VIA Director Brooke Davis Anderson who will help us explore and ponder how this art addresses important cultural topics. The VIA global art network will benefit partners as our friends from the art world join us throughout the trip as guest speakers, sharing their insider knowledge. In creating this trip for you, we have focused on what we believe are the most important aspects of a memorable art experience—first class art, gracious hospitality and impeccable service. We aim to engage you in discussion about the art as you bond with VIA partners and explore this art rich city.
Our FRONT experience is priced at $3350 per person (and $2650 for a plus one) and includes all transportation, lodging, and meals during your trip. There is no minimum of guests required to operate this trip, but the price may increase if there are under ten partners. Your booking is requested by May 26th, 2022.
Artful's cancellation policy: 50% deposit is required to register with a final deposit taken sixty days prior to the trip. Cancellations before 60 days will receive a full refund minus a $500 administrative fee. Cancel for any reason (CFAR) trip insurance is recommended and offered during the booking process.
